about :: the website
The New Jersey District Website should be a pillar of communication between you and the District. With this in mind, the District Webmaster has set forth a few goals for the website:

- Clear: With no more than a few clicks, you should be able to find anything and everything you need from the District. Whether you're looking for a form, information about an event, or contact information, everything should be clear and easy to find. The website should be easily browsable and consistent.
- Useful: Key Club International has been around since 1925. Unfortunately, we are still stuck in the infant stages of adopting and using the internet as a tool. The New Jersey Key Club website primarily exists to be used, so it should be useful.
- Informative: A visit to the website ideally should be as good as an email or a phone call to the District. The site serves to answer your questions, curiosities, and informational needs.
- Interactive: In today's world, the web is an interactive place where people can publish their own news stories, make videos alongside famous producers on YouTube, and be aware of everyone's Friday night plans on Facebook. The New Jersey District Website should aim to not only put out, but take in information from the state. The website accepts your input in addition to publishing articles from The Jersey Key, the District's newspaper. Please contact the District Webmaster, Tim Mickel, or the District Editor, Katie Lee, to be featured!
- Living: Keeping up-to-date is a challenge that faces every website developer. In order to have an effective website, the website must be up-to-date.
