events :: key leader

KEY LEADER is Kiwanis International's leadership education program for students, primarily in high school. Its mission is to provide a "life-changing experience that inspires young people to achieve their personal best through service leadership."

- Key Leader is designed for multiple students from the same school-those who are already student leaders and those with leadership potential.
- Key Leader is designed to begin a process of personal leadership growth and development as opposed to being a weekend event that is forgotten weeks or months later. It will be a life-changing experience.
- Key Leader is designed to open doors to leaders as young as recent eighth grade graduates. Leadership development shouldn't wait.
- Key Leader is designed to teach what it means to be a youth leader in three different communities: the local community; the state or national community; and the global community.
Key Leader for Key Clubbers this year will take place Friday, October 16-Sunday, October 18 at Camp Lebanon in Lebanon, New Jersey. It is open to all students in grades 9-12 in any location; there is no limit on attendees from any school. Registration is $175 for everyone, with $25 off thanks to a Kiwanis International Foundation grant and $35 off for NJ Key Clubbers thanks to a NJ Kiwanis Foundation grant (enter coupon code NJKDF), bringing the cost for NJ Key Clubbers down to just $115.
Register by September at key-leader.org.
If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Celeste Werfel, the NJ Kiwanis District Chair of Key Leader.
