Key Club is the largest student-led service organization in the world. It consists of 33 Districts (states, subregions, and even countries) across the globe with over 200,000 members. Key Club is a service leadership program sponsored by Kiwanis International, an international service organization dedicated to serving the children of the world. Key Club’s purpose is to provide students with a sense of community, build character and leadership skills, perform service for others, and prepare students for a life of useful citizenship.
The New Jersey District is the 7th-largest in the world, and consists of nearly 10,000 members spread throughout 21 divisions in the state. Each division is represented by a Lieutenant Governor, a student-elected regional leader. The New Jersey Board of Trustees has 28 district officers: 23 Lieutenant Governors, a District Webmaster, District Editor, District Treasurer, District Secretary, and District Governor. Any dues-paid member in good standing is eligible to run for office during the applicable election timeframes.
Key Clubbers are dedicated to serving their homes, schools, and communities through service projects and goals.
We challenge students to be leaders in their communities through with programs to develop leadership skills.
