May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and Erika’s Lighthouse is inviting teens everywhere to take the Positivity Pledge—a 31-day challenge focused on building better mental health through small, meaningful actions. For Key Clubbers across New Jersey, this is more than just a pledge—it’s a chance to lead with kindness, promote wellness, and create a ripple effect of positivity in your school and community.


🌟 What Is the Positivity Pledge?

The Positivity Pledge is a free, month-long initiative from Erika’s Lighthouse, designed to help teens take control of their mental health while inspiring others to do the same. Each week in May has a different theme—like Nutrition & Well-Being, Gratitude, Exercise, Mindfulness, and Reflection—with daily challenges to keep you engaged and uplifted.

From preparing a healthy meal to writing down what you’re grateful for, each activity is simple yet powerful. You can even download a full calendar of daily prompts and a Positivity Bingo board to track your progress and spark friendly competition within your club.
