The District Convention, commonly called DECON, is New Jersey Key Club’s largest annual event and the culminating celebration of the service year. Held each spring, DECON brings together Key Clubbers from across the state for a weekend filled with recognition, inspiration, and fellowship.
At DECON, members and advisors celebrate the accomplishments of clubs and individuals through awards and recognition ceremonies. The event also features motivational speakers, interactive workshops, and service project opportunities designed to develop leadership skills and ignite a passion for service.
One of the most memorable moments of DECON is the election and installation of the new District Executive Board, marking the transition to a new year of service. Throughout the weekend, attendees connect with fellow members, reflect on their impact, and leave inspired to continue serving their homes, schools, and communities.
