Payment Schedule:
- March 1st – $280 deposit
- April 1st – $250 payment
- May 1st – $300 payment
- June 1st – Final balance due*

What is ICON?
ICON or International Convention, is the largest gathering of Key Clubbers from around the world! Students can listen to inspiring guest speakers, attend valuable workshops, take part in local excursions and activities, make friends from around the globe, and vote in international elections.
What is the full itinerary?
Day 1, June 28:
- Depart from EWR and land at DFW airport in Dallas and spend a relaxing day at the hotel pool & water park with group dinner
Day 2, June 29:
- Tour of Dallas Cowboys AT&T Stadium with time on the outdoor field
- Day of fun at Six Flags Over Texas Amusement Park
Day 3, June 30th:
- Sixth Floor at Dealey Plaza JFK Museum
- Dallas Aquarium
- Downtown in Deep Ellum complete with group dinner
Day 4, July 1st:
- Morning at Broken Bow Ranch complete with optional horseback trail rides, line dancing, fishing, lasso roping, and archery
- Finish with BBQ lunch
- Evening starts convention
Day 5-7, July 2-4th:
- Caucusing, workshops, keynote speakers, dances, and final international elections
Day 8, July 5th:
- Fly home to EWR
How do I book my flight for ICON?
We can share suggested flights with our chaperones, but we allow students to choose their own flights to allow flexibility if families have miles or points for them to use. The only requirement is that flights arrive June 28th and depart July 5th.
Our suggested flight for ICON 2026 is United Flights UA 1494 and UA 2107 – $423 round trip with 1 carry on ($80 for first checked bag).
Why is flight not included?
We do not include flight in the event a student would like to book with a different airline that their family might have loyalty points or rewards with. We will make sure we work with you to ensure your student has ground transport when they arrive in Texas.
Who are the chaperones?
NJ Key Club provides background-checked chaperones for your students, however, if a parent or advisor would like to be a chaperone or attendee, they are also able to register with our group! Please email administrator@njkeyclub.org if interested or you would like to know the full list of chaperone names and information.
How do I sign up for the cookie dough fundraiser?
Once you have registered for ICON, you will get an email with information on how to sign up for the fundraiser event!
How do I get from the airport to the hotel and back at the end of the trip?
Included in the pricing is all ground transport to and from the airport while in Dallas. A chaperone is ALWAYS on the bus with you to make sure you are safe.
I want to go, but I still need help with cost - what else can I do?
You can reach out to your local sponsoring Kiwanis to ask if they would be able to help offset the cost if possible. As always, please be respectful to your club and allow them ample time to respond by asking early and offering to assist your sponsoring club with volunteering time, or anything else they might need. Remember, Kiwanis is NOT the bank!
What if I can't go at the last minute?
Emergencies happen we understand, but after May 1st we cannot offer any refunds. By that time many of the details have been paid for an solidified and we cannot reduce our numbers from there unless someone can take your student’s place.
